Fixing the Google Error "The specified account is being migrated"

Having somebody add me as a user to Google Analytics keeps throwing this error "The specified account is being migrated. You may user this account instead: .... @gtempaccount.com" but I thought my account was migrated a few years ago.

I found the solution on the Google support forums. To fix this problem I logged into the Temp account but I was prompted to merge it with an account. Instead of merging or moving any details, I changed my password, I then verified there was no existing data I needed from that account, and then I deleted the account. I then had somebody add my @domain.com (Google Apps for domains account) again as an Analytics user and it worked successfully!
